This 8-outlet advanced power strip provides two ways to save energy through load-sensing and active power down while safeguarding your equipment.
It consists of two types of outlets: two (2) for devices necessary to be always-on (e.g. your router or cable box) and five (5) outlets that can be switched off completely when not needed (e.g. game console, subwoofer, etc.). When you turn your TV off, the power strip senses a decrease in power load and turns off all the switched outlets.
The second way this power strip saves energy is through its Adjustable Active Powerdown® sensor that searches for signals devices that are not in use. If it detects that, it will power them down saving energy in the process. It can be configured to 1, 2, and 8-hour settings.
